Ms Allen is a great teacher. Both, the in-class assignments and the essay topics were very interesting. There were 7 essays all together, one of them being a final mock-JEPET. If you are looking for an interesting class that would fulfill your requirement, she is definitely the teacher that you want to take. Also, if you are ever having a writer block with any of the essays, or any problem at all, she is always glad to help, and would try to accomodate your schedule to meet with you.

To the guy who gave Ms. Allen the freaking C+: You go to hell and you die, you SOB. Now back to what I was going to say. Kritie is the best GTA ever. Because she thinks like the rest of the class, we got alone just fine. Her class is so easy, you wouldn't believe it. If I were to rank her, she would be on the the top of a three point scale, Mickie Christensen from Eng214 would be on the middle(Did I mention Mickie is also a excellent teacher), and Ms. Anne Stafford would be on the bottom. I give Ms. Allen an A++. Did I mention we go out to the court for class session fairly often?

During the semester we had to do 7 essays. Each of the topics were quite boring for me. She also grades hard. My friends in other english classes that read my essays said that shes a picky grader compared to their classes. Also my friend that is an english major at UC Berkeley also said that she is hard for a freshmen english class. When I went to her for help one time, it proved to be quite a waste of time. I would not recommended taking her.
