excellent lecturer-malicious grader

As much as she'll make you motivated about learning her subject, she'll make you resent the idea of taking her tests she is an excellent lecturer and you'll like the way she presents nutrition issues and you'll definitely learn a lot from just going to class but she must get some sick pleasure from asking questions that arent in the book or the ones you havent even studied yet (she will claim that such questions are "common knowledge" and you should know them without studying, please!!!) anyway, she'll make you work hard for an A, i actually doubt she gives any

Good instructor.

Dr. Armstrong is a bit intimidating (she usually doesn't crack a smile), but she's a good instructor. Her exams have a lot of definitions and short essay questions besides multiple choice. I think this really helps to test your true understanding of the subject. Even though all multiple choice would probably be easier to pass, I don't think you learn as much. I think that's also why her final exam is all written with no multiple choice. Her lectures are interesting but she talks too fast and it's virtually impossible to take notes. You'd be better off reading the material before class and then just listening to her during the lecture. She's also a fair grader on exams and she only asks questions on material that she's covered.
