He is a very approachable and open-minded professor. He values students'opinions & their participation in class. He will spend extra time & effort to prepare students for their exams & help them with homework & understanding of course materials. He makes learning enjoyable & fun by incorporating real-world examples, current issues and bringing in guest speakers into the classroom. He delivers a lot of inspirations! And he is a good motivator.

He has a lot of professional experience. He is very resourceful, professional & approachable. He will make an extra step to help his students to understand the materials & help them to do better in exams. He is a good motivator & an excellent teacher.

The exams were difficult, however this instructor seemed pretty fair. You MUST do all of the reading. His lectures follow the book, as well as his exams. The good thing is, then there are no surprises on the exams. He seemed easily accessible, and responded quickly to email questions. My only complaint was that this class should be 3 units of work, not 2, as we seemed to cover quite a bit of material.

This teacher is a hard grader. His exams are multiple choice written by the authors of the book he uses. He doesnt give partial credit. He doesnt assign homework and never solves problems in class. The exams are 55% problems. There are 2 exams each covers about 6 chapters. So if you mess up on an exam, then its over. The teacher assumes you have a strong finance background and he is just refreshing your memory. If it wasnt for the book being easy to read, i would have failed. His excuse of vague lectures and not solving problems in class is that there is not enough time. But, he used to let us out early a lot. He seems too busy to write his own exams and lectures. His lectures are just reading off powerpoint slides made by the authors of the book. I wouldnt recommend this teacher to take.
