Poor teacher

You will be good at taking Japanese tests. But, if you are actually taking Japanese so that you can communicate in the language, don't bother taking her class. Sometimes, she is hard to understand in the class.

Good Teacher, Hard Tests

SHe is a good teacher, enthusiastic with humor. Her english is understandable and she knew more English linguistics than i dO (and English is my first language)...She's very organized, follows the syllabus, so no surprises. only things i hated was having to study for the class EVERY DAY and doing homework every other day.. too much .. .and her exams? damn hard if u don't study at least an hour ...if u do just semi-okay on homework(a few red marks of corrections) your test grades won't be an "A"... u have to really freakin study hard and understand it well to get an "A" each time on those tests. and her FINAL? i hate that the MOST!! it's nmot like most classes where it takes no more than 1.5hours, hers take up the FULL 2.5HOURS.. not fun at all... besides those, her class is fun to go to because she uses humor through her goofy pictures and stuff.

One word....Dedicated

Asano sensai is the best, I means BEST professor I have ever had!!! I have taken Jpn 306 and 401 with her as well. She is the most dedicated, respectful Proffessor! Her exams are pretty tough in 325, but if you study all the note she hands out, you'll get an A. She comes prepared to every single class with worksheets, notes handouts, pictures, and objects to demonstrate. She is always in her office, even when she doesn't have class. She has a really cute personality and is really good actress. Hee hee. One thing she's really strict about is attendence. Don't miss any lectures or your grade will go down.

There can't be anything wrong if I'm taking Asano for Japanese 2!

Asano was pretty good. Any hangups I had with the class were most likely due to my own tastes and study patterns. Her class is thorough and entertaining at times (4 stars for the picture-stories). Now, it's a moderately challenging class, but you need to study -everyday- and be ready to speak aloud! If you think you can handle that, you're looking at an A and a pretty good time :)

A wonderful teacher

She is a wonderful teacher I have ever had at this college. She is intelliget, but she never shows it off. She is the coolest. She is open-minded; she is easy to talk to . She is a teacher who can considerate her students. She grades students' paper hard, but this is good for students. This is called "Ai no Muchi" in Japan. That means, she is strict to students on purpose since she loves them!
