I found this instructor to come across oftentimes as extremely nervous, which spilled over into her facilitation style and skills. I always felt she was slightly uncomfortable with teaching the class and tried too hard to control the flow of conversation in the class. It's too bad she couldn't loosen up a little bit and let the conversation in the class flow. Her contrived efforts to start conversation, just seemed to make the class more uncomfortable and made it more difficult for people to speak. I felt extremely uncomfortable in the class and did not feel as if it was a safe space to share experiences. And her grading style is extremely anal, considering seminar is the most subjective type of course the program offers. Do not recommend her at all as she did was not able to effectively facilitate a seminar which could provide students with the opportunity to share and grow with one another.

The environment in this class often didn't feel like a safe space to bring in things, the teacher was really random in what she would allow us to talk about, and sometimes I felt like I was in a junior high school class. It's hard to say exactly what was going on with her.... The worst part is we're required to be with her for 1 whole year...
