Larry Baack

Professor L. Baack is a very good professor. He knows his stuff and for someone his age, he does try and bring a lot to the class. He's been in the business world so he knows what he is teaching. You can learn a lot from his lectures. However, I do not recommend you take him if you do not have great or even good English skills. He shows NO PATIENTS to students who are ESL or who just don't speak English that good, such as International students. During the semester, there are a lot of group discussions and work that requires indivdual presentation. He will make a fool out of you if you can't answer his questions, which a few students in his class whose English skill were not that great experienced.

However, Professor L. Baack is very good professor. The only problem with him is he just don't show patients for students who can't speak English that well, but he is a nice guy that will help if you go to him and ask for help. Overall though, he is a very good professor.

Dr. Baack has a great personality, his lectures are interesting, and he seems to love to teach. There are no tests, only 4 papers that he grades fairly. After awhile the course material gets a bit redundant and one understands the scope of the course after the third class. However, I did learn quite a bit and I'd definitely go out of my way to take this professor again.
