To begin she used 2 TA's to help her run the class. Everything is straight foward in the syllabus. She takes role so attendance is important also there are quizzes at the beginning of each class from the assigned readings this was very frustrating because there's b/w 2-4 articles to read depending on length and quizzes u from each so if u can't keep up with the readings don't take the class.
Also, she makes the class interactive by assigning students to choose a weekly topic from the syllabus in which their group will present the readings assigned during that particular week, this was fun but she expects your group to explain the readings (of course after taking the quiz) and then create an activity to go along with the presentation.
The good thing about the class is that for the midterm she gives out the questions 5-6 to allow students to do outlines for the midterm & final. She expects outlines for all questions since she will pick 2 of the 5-6 questions assigned.
She does work with the students in having them rewrite the midterm if they got a bad grade.
