Overall, she's a nice teacher, but I didn't learn a lot from her. Maybe it's a 8:10 am class, so sometimes she looked so tired and was a little bit disorganize. Except that, she always cares about everyone's opinions, encourage us to fully express ourselves. Once you've make progress, she'll give you pretty good reward. She even assigns TA for students who need help.Oh,she likes students to use metaphors in the essay. So if you'd like to get good grade, use at least 1-2 metaphors each essay~ Anyway, I won't take her class anymore, she's not that kind of teacher who can elicit your genuine ideas to help you grow~

She is a nice teacher. She gives homeworks everyday in order to let you learn grammer well, and her homeworks really helps a lot. Her lecture is good and interesting, you will feel like the time passed so quickly. She organize the project very well. And she tells about the class schedual in advance, thus you can schedual your vacation. But she takes attendence every time. Except that she is a quite nice teacher.

Wendy is a very nice teacher. You can easily talk to her but of course you have to try to talk to her. She is understanding and is willing to listen to whatever problems her students are having. Yes her work maybe boring but you're in college and for crying out loud she's teaching english. She has about 6 essays per semester. I forgot but I know for a fact that she assigns more than 5 essays. Her homework and class assignments are mostly writing down your thoughts or discussing your thoughts with the class. She made english 114 easy for me especially when I dislike taking english classes.

Wendy has an unbelievable amount of boring grammer, sentence structure and paragraph development to cover so I'm not sure if I am to blame her or the material for my dislike of the class. She is a kind of person that doesn't ask a question unless she knows exactly what answer she wants and will never allow the class to go on an interesting tangent. I often felt like I was being talked to like a child...patronized at times. I think if she were to stop underestimating our intelligence the discussions would be so much more engaging. Homework is quite simple and never turned in (except essays). She is VERY thorough with her essay grading. An evaluation form, comment form, plus comments on the back of your essay and within its text. That's a plus.
