Paulette Callahan

Prof. Callahan is a truly nice person. Her tests are easy because she tells you what each problem will deal with the day before the test. However, she was always late to class, she almost never collected homework, and she rarely used the book! She made us buy the textbook for over $100 and all she ever had us use it for was to read, which was pretty pointless because she had already explained everything in class that day! If you are looking for an easy "A", then take this class. Her homework usually consists of a worksheet, which she doesn't even collect and that you go over during the next class period. Paulette Callahan is a great person overall, but the class could be a little more challanging.

I can honestly say that I seldom meet such a nice person as Professor Callahan. She is always in a good mood and has such a passion for teaching. Her lectures are extremely clear and she always tries her hardest to make sure that her students are at ease with the material. Before every test, she explains what kinds of problems to expect and gives good examples. She is also so kind that she drops the lowest exam grade and counts every single assignment, which really helped my grade. She doesn't even have a final-the final test, although it can't be dropped, is of equal weight as all the other tests. She is such a great teacher and person!
