Dave is certainly the best. After hearing about how hard other astronomy teachers were, especially Peters, I felt lucky to be in his class. He gives out quizzes every Friday and they're not that hard if you study from his notes. Watch out though, he sometimes has the tendency to trick you on a question, so read each question of his carefully. All in all, if you attend class, take notes (his notes are also available on his website), and do the quizzes and the final, which he drops two lowest scores, you'll easily pass the pass. Take Carico...you won't regret it.

Carico is one of the nicest teacher i've come across at state. his lectures are very intersting and to the point. he can even answer some questions about other stuff. if you do your homework, do good on exams and attend most of his lectures, you'll succeed.

Dave Carico is my favorite teacher so far. This class is very interesting. He is an awesome guy and easy to talk to. There is a quiz and a homework assignment each week. The quiz is ten questions and if you pay attention in class and do your homework, you'll know the answers. The homework is just questions out of the book. If you attempt to answer half, you get full credit. I haven't yet taken the final but from his quizzes, I'm sure it will be a piece of cake. Take this class!
