Prakash is an extremely intelligent man with a strong passion for teaching. He cares about his students and truly wants everyone to succeed. He does however expect alot of work out of his students. Finance is a very demanding subject. He gives credit for homework completed no matter its quality. His tests are difficult and require a thorough conceptual understanding of the material. His classes are not recommended for the slacker! He is highly recommended for students who like to work hard and want to come out of the class with a plentitude of knowledge about the subject.

I believe this teacher is fair. He took sufficient time to cover the material needed to do the homework and tests. He gave a slight curve to position the grades (even though after the curve ~45 people still failed) and covered the material until it seemed that everyone understood it. The homework was worth 10% of your grade. His tests were difficult but he allowed enough time for almost everyone to finish. I believe that if you didnt do well on his first test but you showed a large amount of improvement on the second test he would weight the second test more heavily (allowing for a higher grade). If taking his class dont hope for a higher grade on the second test though because I believe his second test was a lot more difficult that the first. Take his class if you want a challenge.
