Lilia Chavez

Lilia is awesome! I took College Success Skills with about 10 other people, and we had a blast! She really encourages you to think about yourself and what you're all about, and most class periods were spent talking in a circle. We took a field trip to a ropes course, which was awesome (and, always with a moral, she was getting us to venture outside our comfort zones). We had to write maybe 3 essays that were pretty easy, and our final was a cultural presentation. She's the reason I'm still here at SF State.
