Jett Chinn

Professor Jett is a very good anatomy instructor. Despite how hard he teaches the class and instructs it, people benefit from it. Its too bad that the current lecturer doesnt teach the same way. (Trust me - people leave his lab to learn at Prof. Jetts lab). Working also at a medical school, he demands perfection and 100% knowledge of the subject. He is a hands on teacher and encourages students to participate and touch the cadaver. He teaches at a moderate pace sytemically and encourages questions all the time. In addition he gives a little history & weird facts about parts of the body. The downside to his class is that his quizzes demand quick memorization. Once you learn the subject, there is a quiz on it at the end of class. Expect a quiz and lab report every lab period. The final was comprehensive and consists of 100 fill in the blanks. It was one of the hardest test I ever had in my life. My suggestion is just to study as much as you can and ask him questions. Overall Prof. Jett is a good teacher that you can learn from. If you want to pass the class and dont learn anything take the other teacher. If you want to learn at a medical level and benefit from the class, Prof. Jett is the teacher to take. Good Luck!
