Last semester, taking Chem 215 along with Chem 216 felt very stressful, and busy, busy, busy. Dewitt: her rate speech is fast; if you have a question, she is very attentive and responsive; she is very organized, has neat handwriting and posts regular updates when she promises to do so. The lectures would be greatly improved if she slowed down her speech; the book for the class is not the best; at times I had to use the book for Chem 115, which explained some concepts better. I recommend taking Chem 215 on the heels of 115, since 215 goes over lots of 115 concepts; this is not necessary provided that you put in good, consistent work and study time. There were weekly online homework assignments, which were lengthy, but did aid in learning. Dewitt is very fair in her tests and grading; she won't pull a trick out of a hat, but she won't make it super easy either. Basically, it boils down to consistent study. With that you will get a good grade. Another important point: Chem 216 lab takes lots and lots of your time due to having to prepare lenghty, detailed, elaborate lab reports (with abstract, intro, observation, making graphs, tables, naming graphs and tables). Don't despair, don't drop out. If you can, take the two classes separately, if you can't then, just keep it up. I did, and got good grades (just be prepared to be constantly be busy, and study on weekdays and weekends) Good Luck!
