Professor Dodgen is an excellent choice for FIN350 -- she delivers the course material clearly and consistently, and always answers questions. For us working students, it's great to have a professor who is so helpful via e-mail. Exams are tough (the mid-term was extremely so), although if you attend her pre-exam study sessions, you'll have a good idea of what to focus on.

K. Dodgen is the nicest teacher I've ever had. She makes it clear that her only purpose is to make us understand the basics of Finance. Her projects are real life experience oriented not some kind of theoritical study cases. She wants you to know what really happens in the real world. She's always available; she replies to emails right away. She's young and understands how difficult it is to manage work and studies. She's a very pleasant teacher. I guess her youth might be the reason why she's so understanding and so flexible.

K Dodgen is helpful, organized, and interesting. Going to class is a learning experience every single day. She is helpful and clear. She lets the students know what to concentrate on for each exam and encourages open communication. She returns exams and projects quickly and grades very fairly. If you do the work and study the lecture notes, then you will be successful in her course.
I reccommend her 100%
