Richard Embusch

I really enjoyed Mr. Embusch's teaching style. His lectures are clear, logical and he has a very relaxed manner. The text book he choose was easy to understand and his lectures directly followed the text. As long as you do the reading and homework there shouldn't be any real surprises. I highly recommend getting the work book and doing those assignments.

Prof. Embusch is by far the nicest, most understanding, and knowledgeable teacher I have ever had. Some teachers simply teach just to get paid. Embusch has been teaching for about a decade and he loves his job and shows it with his great attitude about the dismal subject. At first he may seem very stern and dictating, but once you get to know him you'll learn that all of it was just deceiving. Night classes are known to make you fall asleep but his lectures are very effective and refreshing! He's always punctual and makes sure you understand the material before he goes on to the next chapters. His grading system and exams are reasonable and he is always available during office hours. I can't stress anymore how great this man is!
