Chaim H. Eyal

Many students think Professor Eyal is a genius. I agree, because he always knows the answer to any challenge you have for him. He is intellectual and also funny. He really involves students in this topic of news, which really to me isn't too exciting, but he makes it so. The best part is he has many guest speakers as diverse as he is. And if you want an A, you can get an A in this class. Its fairly straight forward.=)

Chaim Eyal is one of the best professors I've ever had at State. He has a mastery of his field, but is very open to listening to other points of view. He is very good at articulating his questions, and allows for the in-class discussions to be interesting and diverse. There is a lot of work for this class (12 two-page essays), but we are well prepared for them. I learned more from the class discussions than I have in any other academic atmosphere. He is kind, reasonable, and teaches his class very seriously and with a lot of heart. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Eyal is very knowledgeable and the best kept secret in the BECA department. His teaching styles has class participation and has very informative speakers. If you want a real world challeging class then you should take Eyal. His lectures are always on point. He has good intersesting assignments , such as his BECA 460 news tv news critical reviews. Dr. Eyal use to teach Internet as a Mass Medium, but I guess he is not taught it for over a year.

Eyal gives understanding of broadcasting theories and concepts that you can put them to work. From well thought out media analysising, research, and team work. His classes make you do "life work" not just turning in meaningless assignments. His teaching style is one that leaves the opinion to you! Oneclass that doesntry to brainwash you! Eyal is a professor that talk with you about the subject, not preach at you. He always holds class discussions, giving students the opportunity to express themselves. If you looking for professor for 300, 422 and 460 take EYAL!!!
