MARIANA FERREIRA

Dr. Ferreira is amazing. She's incredibly intelligent and is able to relate her extensive personal knowledge and expereince to the subject at hand quite vividly. Her theoretical understanding of anthropology seems to extend to her overall worldview. I can't recommend this teacher enough... I'd say she's "out of [SFSU's] league".

Prof. Ferreira is a very talented professor with actual wit and charm. Anthro major or not, she turns the dry subject matter into something that grabs our attention. The class is graded based on 3 quizes @ 10% each = 30%, a midterm @ 30%, and the final is 40%. You'll want to attend even though she does not take roll, her lectures are most of what you need to base your thoughts on when writing the essays. Easy stuff. Just take her. She's knows...
