Fichera is a great teacher because he makes law understandable by simplifying the concepts. Despite the fact that he hates teaching accounting students, he's really passionate about law. There's 4 exams (20 MC,20 T/F,2 short answer essay Q's) worth 25% each and your attendance record determines whether your final grade goes up by 1 grade or down 1 grade. Unfortunately, there were a lot of students who had a lot of absences which is really unprofessional. Fichera needs to do a better job of cracking down on cheaters especially the foreign exchange students that sit by each other and try to copy their answers. He almost took away exams from 3 students in the 2nd exam when there were doing the things that I just mentioned. He uses students names on exam questions which is funny and helps calm down the nervousness of students. The exams are easy but there's a few tricky questions that require you to think. If you write good notes and study the book, you'll do well. If you're a nonnative speaker, this class may be challenging.
