Marilyn is a good instructor. She comes across a little ditzy but she is sweet and approachable. The class was fairly easy. There were five 1-2 page reports on videos we watched in class, one 50 T/F test and the final consisted of 2 in class essays. She was very nice to give us the topic questions ahead of time.

This class is really easy to get a good grade. Foster's lecture is kinda boring because she just repeated the same material from the book. We only have 3 reflection paper from the films, 1 paper from the storybook and 1 midterm and 1 final exam. Midterm had three questions and we were already told about what questions were going to be on the test. So, NO SURPRISE! Final exam was definitely easy!!! Only 1 question with no surprise. One interesting thing is she didn't mind if you just copy the answer word by word from the book.

Professor Foster is a bit of a space cadet. She is easily distracted and her lectures basically repeat book material. Exams are pretty easy. If you keep up with the reading and attend class, you pretty much get an A. I barely attended class, since it was pretty boring (I only took class for Seg 3 requirement), and I still got a B.
