Roe Gallo

ROE is THE BEST speech teacher!!! SHe is definately unique and different from the other speech teachers i've heard about and i am glad i got her!! We only had to do 3 speeches throughout the semester! She lectured us on getting to be more comfortable and learning about our fears as to why people have a hard time speaking. I thought i would dread speech because i HATE speaking in front of people, but Roe made the class very friendly and the vibe was comforting. TAKE ROE's class if you can!!!

Roe is a great teacher and she always think for her students. You can negotiate almost everything with Roe and she'll always let you do whatever you want as long as its reasonable. If you choose her class then I can guarantee that you'll have a great experience with Roe as well as awesome grade :)

Roe is something else. Yeah she doesn't give any work or tests but she isn't really a TEACHER. you are practically forced to stand in front of the class and talk when she calls on you, she likes to put you on the spot so don't raise your hand. She is really unorganized, forgetful and ditzy. Easiest class of my life. All you do is sit there and listen to her talk or listen to others talk. Easy A. But if you wanna learn something don't take this class. But it is an easy A.

I took her class a few semesters ago, and to tell you the truth, she is the BEST teacher i've had so far!

Great personality!!! In class, she became more than just you're teacher, she also became a great friend. She very confident, energetic, understanding, and inspiring throughout the class. One of her assets in this class is her smile. Whenever she or her class was having a bad day, she would always cheer up no matter what.

She has a good hand writting, and her lectures is more adjusted to our own daily lives and personalities. She has a great personality!!! She always tries to bring the very best out of everyone. She always takes sometime to get to know the whole class each and one of them, which is really great!

She DOESN'T use a textbook (yeah!), instead she uses outlines she made herself and brings it to her class and ask the class to participate based on it.

As for projects, she encourages us to do some speeches and a lot of class participation. So as long if you come to class, participate, and at least learned something from the class, you'll be excellent here.

So i would DEFINITELY recommend this teacher to anyone who is in need for a nice, outgoing, articulate, and fun teacher. (Just wished she could teach other classes too)

Oh yeah! Did i mention that she is a famous Health author?

Roe is probably the most capable teacher I have ever met in my life. I watched as she turned shy unwilling speakers into poised articulate professionals. Roe is available by email always and her response time is about 1 hour. The class is not a chore to attended, but instead is the highlight of your day. Roe is outgoing and a great person as well as an accomplished author. The reason I left exams and lecture blank on Roe's report card is because it never feels as if there are any tests and when Roe speaks it is hardly a lecture, but rather a communication with the class. I recommend Spch150 with Roe to anyone and everyone.
