Blaine Garfolo

If you have another choice when taking ISYS 363, do NOT take this guy. he never in his office during office hour, not reply email until 1 week after, you will be lucky if he reply with more than 3 words. he really deserve an "F". Do take this guy, he is the woreset teacher in College of Business.

I was pretty limited in choices for taking different instructors (Pretty much Garfolo teaches all the sections of this course). Dr. Garfolo pretty much read off the power point slides in class, adding barely any other feedback for the notes. Going to class isn't really necessary, but it's good to keep in contact with Dr. Garfolo in order for him to recognize you. You are pretty much on your own for everything in this class. Dr. Garfolo doesn't add much input to what you need for the group project. Find a group early on in the semester and don't slack on your project. The project can take some time if everyone isn't on the same page. Make sure to do the online portion early because seats fill up in the labs. Luckily, my group members and I all passed. We thought we had done better, but without any feedback from Dr. Garfolo, you can't tell what you're going to get. Overall, Garfolo's decent, not the best, but decent if you keep up with everything.
