I only took a weekend-long class with this teacher (1 Credit/No Credit unit which amounted to watching a bunch of movies and talking about them), but I thought his comments were really insightful and he was clearly well-educated both both in cinema and topics of human sexuality (and deeper than I expected about sort of fringe aspects of it). I enjoyed his personality, as well, but I tend to like younger, more casual professors, and he's that type. The only assignment in the course was a paper that we wrote for the last hour or two of the course, which seemed fair for what the class was. I probably can't speak as to whether he's a good professor overall, or for semester-long classes, but I'd recommend him for sections of Cinema 325.

He was very knowledgable about the subject. Very freindly and helpful in all ways. The class was fun and exciting, especially the added creative project that he gave. The project was a whole preproduction plan and will help with future projects that I am in for Cinema. He normally doens't teach this class because he's only part-time, but it was during summer so he had it. If you have a chance to take this class from him you should definately take it! I know that he also teaches at City College, so take him there too!
