Pamela George is an excellent instructor and a great person in general. She really cares about students and the subjects she teaches on. Her assignments make you think about yourself and how you connect to the texts or material. In addition, you learn alot of material from different subjects such as anthropology, psychology, literature and sociology. I would take more classes with her and recommend the class to everyone. There are two large tests, the midterm and final, which she reviews for in advance and touches on everything on the test.

Ms. George comes to class very prepared and focused on the goals she wants to achieve in the class, as well as, what students will be able to take away from the course. There is a great deal of reading, however, it is essential for students who wish to apply to graduate school. We always have quizzes which helps us understand and apply the readings on a consistent basis. In addition, to quizzes she has given us other ways to analyze our reading material.
