I gave this a D- because F reviews haven't been shown in awhile. If they did, then I would immediately give an F.
This man is completely disorganized, and it shows on how he teaches the class. He constantly glorifies himself by talking about how many committees he is in, how many meetings he has to participate in, articles he has written in the past where "he was right," and how his criticisms of these people and issues somehow went unnoticed. He is politically biased, constantly speaking off-topic to give his personal political opinion AND it somehow ends up as exam questions! (You are tested on the opinion of the instructor, as some of the exam questions stated.)
Not only that, he comes to class late often and forgets his teaching materials in his office. (He makes the excuse about the numerous committees and couldn't find time to post a lecture outline online, as promised.) He gets lost in his own details, sometimes lecturing on the same material for three consecutive meetings! It is so unstructured that you end up not going to class just to get away from his scatter-brained actions.
Articles that he assigns to read are difficult to read at times, with many typos and missing sections. At times, he posts the articles one week before an exam. What about students that plan ahead and read more than a week in advance?
Yeah, he is a funny guy, but when you get lost in his lectures and held accountable for it in an exam question, then it's not funny.
