Samuel Harvell

On the first day of instruction, I was intimidated my Mr. Harvell after hearing his expectations and the activities involved in his class. However, as the semester continued, the class wasn't as bad as I thought. We only did one little debate where only eight people in the class actually participated in. The assignments toilsome and he doesn't give you that much time to do them either. The only tests are the midterm and the final exam both of which involve short answers and an essay. Harvell's Ethnic Studies class involved a lot of work. He does however give you extra credit opportunities. If you attend an SFSU event at school and write a one page paper which involves a summary and a reflection, he gives you five extra credit points.
