Dr. Hebert is a nice man, yet his class lacks excitement and is very monotonous. Aside from the format of the class being boring, predictable, and repetitive; 20% of your grade is based on participation. This is not the participation you or I are used to. You MUST say at least one thing everyday or he gives you a D for that day. This creates an environment where people are speaking, just to get the points, not in their own interest, nor in the interest of furthering the class discussion. I took the class because of the previous 2 entries but regret it. Just trying to warn you before you get into something without hearing both sides.

I am currently enrolled with Hebert in 682. He expects to work hard but he is also a very descent and nice person who wants to learn as much as possible. He wants everyone to participate as much as possible which makes the class very interactive.

I am currently enrolled in bus. 690 with Professor Hebert. although the materials are somewhat challenging at times, Professor Hebert made a great effort in lecturing and making sure every student in the class gets something out from the class.

The class consists of two exams and couple of internet excerises which helps students learn and understand the material.
