Ezra Holland

OK! You listen and you listen well!! i am a rec major and every teacher in the field is awsome but ezra is the best just because he makes you intrested in recreation. He has some test but there not hard at all. i got an A's or B's on all of his test i didnt even read the book becasue everything in class he talks about is on his test. Ezra is cool becasue he will try in all of his classes to take you on a field trip whcich most the time is the ropes course. If you want a teacher that is tottally sweet and chill and i promise you one thing you will have soo much "fun" in his class that you will want to take more classes with him.

Ezra is awesome - as an instructor and as a person - he's inspiring and really makes you think about what's important in life.

ezra's okay. he always wants his students to think he's cool and like the other person said, like he's a fellow surfer and all that.

he tries to make class fun but sometimes ends up trying too hard. sometimes lacks professionalism. on our field trips, we had 2, one of them he came extremely late and although he had an excuse, since he scheduled the trip, he should have been there early. he demanded for us to be there on time, he should be too, no matter what. hey, we could ahve come up with an excuse too but it would have still affected our grade right?

2nd trip. he told us to go to little italy, downtown. it as supposed to be a treasure hunt or something like that. the class starts at 2 and ends at four. we were supposed to go there using our own means. meaning most of us took muni which took almost an hour. now! if it took that long to get there, it would take just as long to get back to school and if you ahd another class, well then you're screwed cuz you wouldn't be able to do the stupid hunt anyway! great! oh, did i mention he drove off and left everyone there? gee thanks. so, in short, noone got the hunt done, and everyone ended up geting back to school around 5 at the earliest. useless trip, a waste of money, time, and effort.

his tests we're that hard. he gives review sheets and as long as you study them, you'll be fine. aside from the annoying trips (the 1st was fun but dampened by his unprofessionalism) and his try-hard-attitude, the class is pretty easy. good class to take gor g.e. requirement if you want a b+ or a.

This teacher is the most awesome teacher for the most fun class you'll ever take at state. His lectures and in-class activities are very engaging and the stuff that he teaches you'll be able to apply in your every day life for the rest of your life. He exudes positivity and that always seems to rub off on his students, including me. I'd hihgly recommend Ezra's class.
