Class and lectures are very drawn-out and boring. Some class projects are okay but mostly tedious as well. Im is a very nice guy but he requires that you attend classes, then teaches by reading powerpoints.

overall ok class. 2 grp projects and 1 midterm and 1 final. all from the powerpt slides. i dont think i even used the book for this class! SUPER boring guy though, and he is always willing to help out if you need it. Projects are a bit demanding but it is doable. hwk is just 2 articles that you answer qs to.

Im's accent makes him hard to understand. Also, he is so anal, so expect to work your butt off and recieve a low grade. The group project sucks, and his lectures are so boring. If you want to work a lot and get a C then take this class

Professor Im is a new teacher and you can definitely tell by the way he teaches. He is very nervous, seems like he always has a set lecture that he has to get through, and he will make you wait until he's done before he lets you out of class, even if class is suppose to be let out. His grading is so anal and you can't understand what he is saying half the time. The only thing good that I can think of is that he takes hi s job very seriously and loves teaching. He would be a little better if he just lightened up. This class is very time consuming and make sure you have a good group for the group project because it is such a HUGE part of the class! Subin Im is a nice teacher. He is available out of the class and if you e-mail him, he will mail you right back with his answer. I really liked and enjoyed his class, the only thing was he gives a lot of I mean "LOTS OF" homework and projects which will make you feel overwhelmed. I did so much for his class and deserved an A but I got a B. I was really pissed of at him for miss grading me but he is a nice guy overall. Although they were hard, I enjoyed his classes. If you wanna take his class you do 2 BIG projects which takes a lot of time. Get ready!!!

This teacher is ok. Take him if there is no one else to take. Make sure that you talk to someone who already has the class because although his lecture is good and gives homework, he is impartial to people passing his class. He isnt even efficient in keeping up to date with people performances so keep track on your own. The main problem I had with this class was that the teacher is a perfect example of someone who just comes to school to teach the class and leaves and the rest is up to you. No feedback, helpfulness, even when asked for. So take this teacher at your own risk. Overall though hes ok
