Alex Jackson

Alex's class fails to teach anything throughout the semester. He assigns projects in the beginning, has three critiques and walks around watching students work the rest of the time. While he offers feedback, criticism and encourages some student participation, I felt the class largely failed. The only "demo" we had was a brief introduction to the canvas stretching materials and tools. The two slide lectures that he had were very boring and offered little useful material. The critiques were disorganized and few students were involved in discussion. This class could only be useful to an intermediate to advanced painter looking for some time for busywork.
