Very good insturctor! She works you hard but the rewards are worth it. As she will say herself, this class does seem threatening at first. It's like learning a new language, but if you stick it thruoug and keep trying it will all come together adventually and so will the grade. She is also very enthusiastic, supportive and funny! Good job Gerry!!!

Geri Johnson is an exceptional instructor! Her classes are stimulating, exciting, and challenging. Geri's enthusiasm for teaching shines through. Geri really cares about her students and will cheerfully go the extra mile for any of her students that need further clarification or help. Geri is very approachable and when she is engaged in dialogue with a student, that student has her undivided attention. There is an appropriate amount of homework in Geri's classes and each assignment really helps to reinforce what is being learned in class. The syllabus' for each of Geri's classes are outstanding! There are no surprises. You know from day one what is the goal of the class, what is expected, what the lectures will be on, and when the assignments are due. I would highly encourage anyone considering a class with Geri to take it! The learning expereince will be invaluable to you and you probably will also experience personal growth. Geri doesn't just deserve an A rating, Geri deserves an A+ !
