Beth Kelley

Beth is awesome. She's funny, and knows how to talk about subjects in a way that makes you pay attention. She's good at noticing when the class is in a certain mood (tired or slow) and adjusting her teaching style accordingly to get the most out of us (with jokes or something). Her class was extremely helpful when it came to learning about fitness because she specializes in exercise physiology. The only thing about her is that on subjects other than that like general physiology and nutrition, she sometimes makes minor mistakes in her information, but generally is correct. Her grading is easy. You have a few-page paper in the beginning, one few-page paper in the end, two exams, and lab exercises between that are not hard at all to do. If you go to class and make an honest attempt at reading (~70% of the material) you'll do perfectly fine. Bottom line: she's funny and nice, her class is informative and fun, and you'll do fine if you're not a complete slacker.

This instructor has a lot to teach you about the practical side of Kinesiology, the side that overlaps with business and marketing.

All around good class, but like all classes, you get what you put into it!

Beth is incredibly enthusiastic. She knows what she is doing. She has a wealth of experience behind her, and only the naieve students are able to convince themselves that what she has to contribute is irrelevant.

The funny thing is, she experiences more personal disasters than your average freshman living in mold-infested dorms! From car wrecks to family illnesses, to injuries to roomate problems, sometimes her drama is over the top!

But don't let that fool you. She can only get better as she settles down...
