R Kennedy

Don't let the last name fool you: Kennedy. I signed up for the history class thinking it might be a sign of a good semester... no.

He spent soo much of the semester talking about the Industrial Revolution that other important topics--like I don't know, the Vietnam Conflict??--suffered greatly. We spent a whapping 27 minutes discussing the Vientam Conflict. (Yes, I actually timed it as I was looking forward to it all semester long.)

The readings are actually good. His lectures are marvelously boring. Unlike the more famous Kennedy, he is not a good orator.

Take someone if you have a choice.

makes you work, makes you think, very clear in lectures although a bit lofty, expcts you to grasp tough concepts quickly...grades difficult so steer clear if you're a slacker who likes to get by without effort...
