SPCH 362 (4 Units) If you fear performing in public and memorization - this is the class for you. The support, encouragement, techniques and overall direction provided by this instructor, inspires students to excel beyond their expectations.
There are 3 performance/presentations and reflection papers (approx. 5 pages. each) required + an outside performance review. Post- performance, each student in the class received personal and constructive feedback in a one-page hand-written note from the instructor!
In this 4-unit class there is a lot of work, effort and some risk involved but you will be provided the tools and a supportive environment in which the whole class becomes part of the experience and the process.
Amy Kilgard joined the faculty of the Dept. of Speech and Communications Dept. in the Fall/03 semester and as a newcomer she has raised the bar and is a welcome and wonderful new addition to both the department and the SFSU campus!
