Joe Kim

I enjoyed taking Professor Kims class... MOTIVATION PSYCHOLOGY 493. He is great lecturer and by being a great speaker, he helped me understand a lot more of the subjects. Examples were used to enhance our learning and it was a great, fun, interesting class. One great thing I like about the lectures is that he uses a powerpoint presentation, which makes it easier to learn and follow. If you miss a day of class, he provides the lectures online, so you can print them out and have them for studying for the exam. However, there are only two exams, but they are straightforward and one side of 8x11 cheat sheet can be used, which is really helpful. There are about 15 multiple choice and then 5 short essays and 1 long essay. If you understand all the materials, then you'll be fine. There is one group research project which isn't too bad, its a lot of work, but it helps us learn about researching. Overall, Professor Joe Kim is a great, humerous, interesting teacher and I would recommend him for PSY 493.
