Dr. Kim is a great teacher with a very informal, conversational style. His lectures are fascinating and he knows his material extremely well.

He was really cool. He explained everything and went over all the material. I took him in the summer, so it was fast paced. I really enjoyed this class, too bad he's not teaching in the Fall of 2002.

Dr. Kim is a great lecturer. He knows his stuff and is very helpful if you go in and see him. His teaching assistants are also very helpful, so get to know them. It's not a hard class as long as you go to lecture.

Dr. Kim was one of the best instructors I had at State. His teaching style was clear and interesting. I attended his statistics class, which he taught in a clear and fair manner. I also joined his cognitive psychology reading group and was impressed by his depth of knowledge and his committment to his students. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Kim was a fair and even professor. He is wonderful at conversing with students and communicating his ideas to the class. Dr. Kim relies heavily, however, on T.A.'s and does not facilitate conversation within the class - he lectures only. His class will help in understanding the basics of psychological statistics, and help overcome fears of mathematics in general.

Dr. Kim is the best professor in the department. He relates to the students like they're really people, not numbers. He gives ideas that are new to most of us, and even though they're wrong, they're better than most of the department. He cares about his students, he seems more like one of us than a Professor. The perspective he advocates is all but unrepresented at State, though it will be gaining in popularity within the field very rapidly in the next 20 years, and as I said it is definitely wrong, and definitely better than anything else you will find in the department. Dr. Kim is the first psych prof I've met who actually knows what a primary text is!
