In a nutshell, Ms Kitses is a professor which simply goes through the motion of teaching. For one, I found no enthusiasm in her teaching style. Students are not given much room to their imagination. She required buying books which to my surprised were hardly used. Totalitarian maybe a powerful word; however, this is how I exactly felt towards her. In her conscious mind, Ms Kitses respects students. However, there are times you would catch a glimpse of lack of respect. There is also this aspect of diffulty on her part to accept error in what she teaches. At first, I thought that it is only I who had this reaction toward her; but as time passed, and I got to know most of my classmates I found out that most of us (if not all) had the same feeling towards her. During my stint in her class, I noticed fewer and fewer students were coming (some even dropped out). In one instant, before this student dropped out, we had a conversation on the restroom. I was airing my complaints to him and he said, "yeah man, I know what you feel." Days after, this student stopped coming to class. Perhaps the most accurate I could say is that, she concentrate too much on her means of teaching, rather than the ends. Its her way, and her way only.
