Phil Klasky

Professor Klasky splits up each week with a lecture and discussion groups and usually some amazing stories. There are several guest speakers throughout the year and a mandatory field trip which was VERY fun. Homework required a fair amount of reading all downloadable through his eres. The midterm was really long and extensive, but admittedly I remembered and knew much more for the second half of the semester. The final is a research paper and the topic is very open-ended. Professor Klasky has a very open policy about due-dates IF you talk to him beforehand. The most annoying part of the class is mandatory attendance, and if you miss a day he asks for you to e-mail/call him about why.
