Eliahu Klein

Rabbi Klein is very intelligent and knows the material, but tended to get hyper sensitive about topics relating to the interelation of Jews and Muslims. He called a student ignorant during class and in front of everyone whent he student made a statement about the way the Muslims treated Jews during the middle ages. The fact that a student is attending college is in the pursuit of enlightenment and being labeled the opposite in front of peers could be very discourageing. Bad move Rabbi.

I don't think Rabbi Klein is teaching here at State for a while, but he was a great teacher. His writing was a little off, but he tried his hardest so that you could understand the material, leaving the "fuzzy" areas open so you could think critically. His class really thrilled me and I'm just sad that he's not teaching anything this coming semester...
