No test, No exams, no structure. Peroid. There was one paper for the entire semester due on the last day of class. MLA not required. So if you like that sort of thing this teacher is for you... The grades were determined by this: If you're paper delights me, you recive an "A", if you're paper pleases me, you recive a "B" if you're paper bore's me, you recive a "C" All book reports are boring and all book reports recive the grade of "C" Poets were the only topic of dicussion, Hemingway was only mentioned once, with the remark of "Hemingway was a good writer" I would go to class once every two weeks (The class met once a week) and every lecture I went to was same as the last. Half way through the semester I stopped going to class completly, all life was taken out of me when I had to sit through the lectures. Mr. Langton is however, a really nice man. Too bad his class could not captivate my intrest.

Lovely, lovely man with an enormous knowledge of English, the world and human nature. Excellent content, and even greater paper at the end.
Take this class, the man is a darling!!

I've never learned so much in a class! Langton's awesome! Especially if you like poetry! Or even if you hate it!

Dan Langton is one of the greatest teachers I've ever had. He's intelligent but conversational. He talks to students, is full of information and helps out in any way he can, with any kind of problem. This guy really goes above and beyond. He is the only adviser at SFSU that I will bother talking to. Community Projects is a really good class.
