Valerie Lee

I did not enjoy taking this class in the Fall of 2002. She was a terrible teacher because she had a "suck up" student or quite a few "suck ups" lead the class. I can remember the only time she actually taught the class herself was the first day or two and then sometimes 5 mins before the class ends for the rest of the semester. And to the idiot below who about a reincarnation of Bruce Lee, YOU DONT KNOW SHIT because I know a few long fist beginner martial artists that can probably beat Ms.Lee or so called Sifu in forms or whatever. And whoever your teacher was named "Adam Hsu" or whatever, he isn't known compared to my friend's instructor like Tat Wong here in SF or Chris Chan, a Win Chuan martial artist.

Ms.Lee is not a great kung fu teacher in my opinion, and I have been taking martial arts for a while, it's more of a karate class to me because of the form you learn. And you know what, when I had here, she barely teaches, she has a freaking students lead the class till like 10 mins b4 class ends. She was a horrible teacher and to the comment below, you dont know what a work out is until you take Capoeira.

She is a very, veeeeery caring teacher or Sifu. Everyday we had an "amazing work-out". Miss Lee will teach you and guide you on how to reach your full body potential, mind performance, coordination, relaxation techniques,tone your muscles, etc...Unlike other teachers who just lecture(or stand still)instead of working out, "Miss Lee will train and work out" along with the class. This class is 99% training, and 1% for the finals. The final is just what you practice from the first day of class, not all, just a few Kung Fu moves and a take home exam. Of course, if you want to get a good grade, DONT MISS CLASS!!!...that's all
