Chet Leighton

I read the review posted on this site and was really scared about taking his class. But because of scheduling I did and boy was I glad! Leighton's 801 basically can make a man(/woman) out of you. The structure of the class in Spring 2003 was excellant. It was project based and I learned a lot. His class was the hardest class I have taken in the ITEC program and he really challenges you in your work. His comments and suggestions are appropriate and his sarcasm is misleading. The politically correct types might find it offensive but I think Leighton tells it like it is unlike all the other polite ITEC faculty. Grading is tough as we found out in the end..it is not easy to get an A in this class. So if its a 4 GPA you are after...work hard.
