He is very scholarly in the subject of Spanish art and events of historical Spain. Good class...it is a lot of slides during the lecture and five textbooks for the class, therefore lots to read. Unfortunately there is only two exams during the entire semester...so you better study.

Dr.Mann is a cool professor. He ties art history well into the visual side of this class. He is articulate and well educated. I enjoy this class alot. There are two tests, and he gives you more credit for the higher grade you recieve. Overall, this class is interesting, and Mann has turned me on to becoming an art history major. Only complaint: don't expect variety, the class is the same thing daily..but it works well.(lecture/slides/notes)Take him..he is worth it.
