Like most SFSU professors, who hardly give any support or encouragement reflects the low overall University grade by students. In my opinion, students who are lost or confused on school issues, SFSU keeps you captive. I feel the faculty with the exception of Mark Blank will give a lending hand. Obviously, teachers do not have the high paying salaries, so the only reason to teach is to provide growth, and enjoy the seed planted.
