Merle Mason is one of the nicest teachers I've ever had at SFSU. He's very accommodating, and very approachable. he lets you work in teams so that you don't get overwhelmed by the homework, which isn't difficult. You get 1 of 2 grades on the projects--"good" or "do over," so there's not a lot of pressure. My ony suggesiton, and I htink Merle would agree, is don't buy the book.
