He is a good physics lab teacher because he explains every little detail to you so you know how to do the lab and answer the questions. In the begining of each lab he writes up all the simplified formulas you'll need for that lab and all the key points that will help you successfully complete the lab. He explains it so well during the lecture that it doesnt matter if you don't understand or even cover the material in lecture because he will help you answer every question you have. DOn't be afraid to ask him any and all stupid questions because he'll always give you the answer but sometimes he wants you to try to think of it yourself. Sometimes he gives you slight atttitude depending on his mood. Every morning on the dot when the class begins he will give a quiz consisting of 2 questions based on the lab; if you read it you will answer it right and if not you will get it wrong but its easy and it can make you or break you so just read the lab before you get the quiz. The lab notebooks are graded out of a 4 points at the next lab session and he becomes very picky as the semester goes on but still graded leniently. The final is easy because it is open lab notebook and the questions are based on having a complete notebook. Overall he's an easy teacher and you should take him!

Mr. Mcassey ran an excellent physics lab (physics 112). Not much he did or said was outside the subject matter. He was always calm and helpful, didn't over or under work the material, and provided the perfect environment which complimented the lecture portion (physics 111) of the class. Physics can be hard, confusing, and annoying. Mr. Mcassey's lab, on the other hand, was steady, informative, and constructive. One of the most 'to the point' labs I've had in all of my science classes.

He's an okay teacher. He's a bit of an asshole, but he's willing to help you understand the material. But he is a bit assholish....big ego.

He is really nice and has the motive to actually teach students. Some how he remembers your name without having an conversation with him. He could be kind of gayish but as a teach i would recomend him. Although his web site is formulated with gayness and ego.

He is one of the best teachers I ever had. He makes sure that his students understand the concepts. For any students who do not understand anything from his class he's willing to help those students. He even review elementary math. For him there is no such thing as "you should already know these concepts since you' are in college." He will do anything just to make his class easy. For the test he'll let you have as many cheat sheets you need. He will even give you the same exam test, like the ones he assigned for the homework problems.
