I took DAI 320 Drafting & Sketching and wish I never enrolled because it's pretty much a waste of time since nowadays it's all done on Autocad/Solidworks. There's a ton of assignments that he hands out on paper and I really didn't care much for them. It's just that the sketching must be done 100% accurate or else a low grade or redo. Some drawings are a real pain and will take hours to complete. Robert is a nice guy except he can be a huge pain to get in touch during his office hours because he can be in 3 different places or not be anywhere at all. I tried to see him twice during his office hours and he was nowhere in sight. He also will joke around sometimes and even forget because he also teaches Rapid Viz.

I Natata for Rapid Vis, and overall the experience was positive. He is a fair grader, and lets you re-do assignments that you did not receive full credit for. There were no tests and no papers which was a plus for me, and all in all I think I learned quite a bit. I took him during winter - so the workload was intense, but spread out over the semester it really should be cake. On the negative side he could probably stand to get a little more organized and clearly define his expectations a little bit more. **Make sure you know exactly what he wants out of an assignment before you do it.** On the whole he is a nice guy who will work with you to figure things out as long as you are clear about **exactly** what you need.
