Dr. Naff might become a good teacher, but she isn't one yet. She asks for a lot of weekly work and class participation, which she then assigns no credit in her grading. Early on much of the class realized they didn't have to do the weekly work, or could do it in class. Wading through the assigned material in class each week felt like high school.

Her assignments and comments are generally good, however, and although she knows her subject, she's an uncertain speaker. Also she grades arbitrarily, and doesn't make her priorities clear to help students focus amidst all the work she's piling on them. Her grading sheets only point the way to passing - not to an A.
