Robert Nickerson

This class made me decide to never take another course from Dr. Nickerson again. He drones on and on, seldom making attempts to engage the class in a two-way conversation, even though he mentioned in the beginning of the semester that he didn't want to be the person who talks all the time. When students do attempt to say something he isn't interested in discussing he changes the subject and brings it back to him talking. He is definitely from the old school of teaching where the teacher speaks and the students listen. This semester we evaluated an associate of his e-commerce site. Part of the grading came from the associate and the other part came from him. The associate gave most people good grades; however, he said that he had to be more strict. I hate when teachers feel they need to artificially bring down the grades of the class if students are doing well. I agree with another poster that he is very nit-picky and seems narrow minded. He seems to relish in this attitude. I won't take another class with him. These are my opinions and not necessarily facts.
