Michael C. Ritter

While the counseling class is a great class to learn about interpersonal communication, Michael Ritter is a reason enough to take any course he may be teaching. Michael is the warmest, most caring teacher I have ever had the privilege to work with. He goes out of the way to make sure you understand the materials presented in his class, and is always available to help you in any way that he can. I cannot emphasize enough how much you will benefit just by knowing him.

TAKE THIS CLASS!!! I don't care if you're interested in counseling or not, Michael Ritter is AWESOME! He's funny, he's personable, he cares! You will put many hours into this class not only because you have to, but because you WANT to. The class is actually taught by several instructors, Michael, Nina Jo Smith, as well as peer counselors, all of whom are wonderful! This is the class that made me want to come to school!

a fun, dynamic and creative professor. The classes are focused on allowing you to be a better counselor and provide you with a lot of hands on experience and your own creative programming. It also teaches you team work, that WORKS!!!! He is always going out of his way to assist on every level.
